Our commitment to accountability, good governance, and transparent operations.
KalaSetu Initiative is a volunteer-led effort that uses arts, culture, education, and community-oriented activities to create positive social impact. This website describes our intent and activities in good faith.
KalaSetu Initiative is registered with the Government of India, as 'KalaSetu Trust' in AndhraPradesh state. We are also registered with the DARPAN scheme as 'KalaSetu Trust' (ID: AP/2026/1129189) and started applying for 12A and 80G registration.
The Trustees of the Trust are responsible for the management of the Trust. The Trustees are volunteers (and not paid) who are passionate about the cause and committed to the mission of the Trust. The Trustees are elected by the members of the Trust and are responsible for the management of the Trust. An advisory board of experts is being formed to provide guidance to the Trustees. We are also planning to appoint COO (Chief Operating Officer) to help with the management of the Trust.
Donations are voluntary. Because the Initiative is registered as a charitable Trust under Indian law, donors can claim tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The information provided on this page is for transparency and informational purposes. Details may be updated periodically to reflect volunteer capacity, any future registration, or governance updates.
